I am a Partner in our Assurance and Advisory practice, with more than 20 years of experience providing high-quality audit services to my clients. My experience across assurance, transaction services, and a broad range of industries gives me exposure to the latest developments in innovation and best practice. This enables me to proactively identify opportunities and issues that may affect my clients’ businesses, helping them mitigate risks and take advantage of emerging possibilities.

My audit experience includes listed groups, both domestic and international, unlisted public companies, and large private groups. I have worked across numerous industries and have specialised knowledge in financial services, real estate, retail, technology, and renewable energy.

I am regularly invited by the Property Funds Association to contribute to thought leadership and present insights to its members. I am also a member of the Property Council of Australia’s Capital Markets Accounting Committee. As our Lead Audit Partner for Real Estate and Funds Management, I work with some of our largest and most complex clients in these sectors.

I have extensive experience preparing investigating accountant’s reports in connection with initial public offerings and capital-raising projects. I have also undertaken numerous financial due diligence assignments relating to mergers and acquisitions, both in Australia and internationally, including while working in London, United Kingdom. In addition, I lead several ASX-listed engagements for the firm.

My experience includes:

• advising on the accounting treatment of a A$130m private placement in the US debt markets
• reviewing forecast financial information for capital raisings by numerous Australian real estate investment trusts and unlisted funds
• acting as Joint Investigating Accountant for the dual primary listing of an Australian energy resources company on the ASX and Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with a market capitalisation of A$2.5bn
• undertaking financial due diligence on a property funds management business with A$1.2bn in funds under management
• completing GS 007 controls assurance engagements for custodians and fund administrators with more than A$50bn in funds under administration
• advising an ASX-listed entity on the financial statement implications of earn-out and deferred consideration arrangements relating to business acquisitions
• serving as an auditor of APRA-regulated superannuation entities.

I serve as Honorary Treasurer of Arts Project Australia Inc., a leading studio and gallery that supports artists with intellectual disabilities.

I am a Partner of SW Audit and a Director of SW Accountants & Advisors Pty Ltd.
