SW shortlisted for the Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA)

We are pleased to announce that SW’s new Melbourne office has been shortlisted for the 2022 Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) in the Workplace Over 1000 sqm category.

In 2021, SW worked closely with designers PTID and fitout and construction specialists SHAPE Australia to carefully design office spaces that streamline visual design elements and our sustainability vision across our Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne locations, bringing together light, practicality and beautiful design to assist our people to work better, together.

We are proud that these spaces are a continuation of our SW brand and are specifically designed to enable our people to work how and where they feel most comfortable and to collaborate better, both now and in the future.

We thank the team at PTID, SHAPE and Shaw Contract for bringing our vision for our people to life. We also thank PTID for putting our Melbourne location forward for this year’s IDEA and look forward to the outcome of the awards in November.

Technology uplift report

Alongside our office redesigns, we took the opportunity to completely rethink our technology design and how this needs to work for our people now, and into the future.

Head of Information Technology, Barney Ling, has put together a report that details our technology objectives and design decisions, as well as reflections on the lessons learnt months after the project completed.
