I have more than 19 years of experience providing accounting, tax, and business advisory services, and I have a particular passion for the property sector. I support locally and foreign-owned property developers with their key accounting, tax, and commercial requirements.
I have worked with locally and foreign-owned businesses across a range of industries. My broad experience brings commercial pragmatism to every client engagement, enabling me to skilfully combine accounting and tax compliance advice with strategic and commercial consulting.
My experience includes:
- advising on and establishing property ownership structures for private owners, joint ventures, closely and widely held syndicated groups, development management agreements, development rights agreements, and co-ownership agreements
- structuring entities for property acquisition, development, and disposal transactions
- providing GST advice on the acquisition, development, leasing, and disposal of property assets
- providing advice and reporting services during applications for land acquisition and construction funding
- advising on state and federal taxes, including land tax, stamp duty, payroll tax, and fringe benefits tax
- advising foreign owners on state and federal property taxes and duties.
I am also a volunteer Board Member and Treasurer of Women’s Property Initiatives, a not-for-profit affordable housing provider working to end women’s homelessness in Victoria.
I am a Partner of SW Audit and a Director of SW Accountants & Advisors Pty Ltd.
